REGULATIONS AS A DOCUMENT: FROM THE HISTORY TO THE PRESENT

Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of regulations as a document in the historical aspect. The peculiarities of compositional-content structure of the General Regulations of 1720 in comparison with a contemporary document are examined. The features of using the notion "regulations" in the sphere of a documentation of a managerial activity are analyzed. The terms "technical regulations", "administrative regulations", "managerial regulations", "regulations of a process" are defined. The terms, which are present in the text of the General Regulations of 1720 and terminological units, used in the texts of contemporary regulations, are characterized.
