STUDENTS’ PROJECT ACTIVITY AND DEVELOPING THE AUTONOMOUS WORK SKILLS IN THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES

Abstract. The article analyzes the role of project activity in developing the autonomous work skills in the foreign language classes. The mentioned skills are one of the indicators of the level of professional competence of a graduate. The paper provides an example of educational project and discusses the non-traditional forms of supervising autonomous work of the students implementing project activity. The authors identify the related difficulties which a foreign language teacher comes across.
