AN INSULAR LOCUS IN THE STORY BY Z. S. DAVYDOV "BERUNY"

Abstract. The paper is a private stage in the study of a northern text of Russian literature. The article considers the peculiarities of an insular locus in the story by Z. S. Davydov "Beruny". The stable images and motives, organizing an insular locus in the story, are emphasized. The role of semantic antinomies, forming an artistic world of the story, is defined. The specificity of interaction of realistic and myth-poetical elements of the text while creating the image of an island is revealed.
