PHENOMENON OF THE DESTRUCTIVE WORD IN F. M. DOSTOYEVSKY’S AND B. L. PASTERNAK’S NOVELS

Abstract. The article is devoted to the comparative study of the poetics of the novels "The Brothers Karamazov" and "Doctor Zhivago". The author's attention is focused on the phenomenon of "verbiage" ? one of the aspects of the semantic paradigm of "the false" associated with the image of catastrophic being. The paper considers a number of characters ? carriers of the destructive type of consciousness, identifies a set of common features that reveal their typological affinity.
