MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION OF STUDENTS OF NONLINGUISTIC FACULTIES AT THE ELECTIVE CLASSES OF A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract. In the article the idea of organizing multicultural education at the elective classes of a nonlinguistic faculty of a university is examined. Goals, main tasks, principles and content of the elective course of the English language "Multicultural planet", developed by the author of the article for the students of the Elabuga Institute (Branch) of the Kazan Federal University, are discussed.
