CROWN OF SONNETS - INITIATION INTO THE UDMURT AND CLOSELY RELATED KOMI AND MORDOVIAN LITERATURE

Abstract. The article analyzes the genre of the crown of sonnets as initiation into the Udmurt poetry and closely related Komi and Mordovian literature. The general trends in the development of this genre and the civil focus of works are considered. The organizing center of the crown of sonnets is formed by the fates of prominent personalities in the national culture: poetess Ashalchi Oka, poet and playwright Mikhail Pokchi-Petrov in the Udmurt poetry, a classic in Komi poetry Ivan Kuratov, and brilliant sculptor Erzya in the Mordvinian literature. The author studies not only the formal components of works, but also the dominant images, as well as event-semantic elements associated with them.
