PECULIARITIES OF JAMES DOUGLAS MORRISON’S POETIC TEXT

Abstract. In the article the peculiarities of James Douglas Morrison’s poetic text are considered. The way of the creation of the artistic effect of stream of consciousness in the text is described. The notion of text in narrow and broad senses is studied and described. The particular cases of the vertical realization of intertextual relations and the phenomenon of key words are considered. On the basis of the studied material a brief summary table of the author’s codes is made and the interpretation of some of the presented codes is given.
