LONELY HERO IN ORAL AND WRITTEN TRADITION OF OLONKHO: MODIFICATION OF EPIC CHARACTER

Abstract. The article considers the complex of epic motifs associated with typologically the earliest type of a hero in the Yakut olonkho - Air Sogotokh hero. A comparative study of these motifs in oral and written texts of the epos suggests the modifications of its figurative system, the demythologization of a plot, the appearance of social motivation elements in the written text of olonkho, close to literary forms, and the complication of a narrative structure of the text.
