ON THE PROBLEM OF REALIZATION OF COMPETENCE APPROACH IN THE PROFESSION-ORIENTED FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING

Abstract. The article examines the basic problems arising in the sphere of profession-oriented foreign language teaching in a non-linguistic (medical) higher school under transition to Federal State Education Standards (FSES). The paper discusses the strategies for developing lexical skills - using the words from the nucleus of the vocabulary and Latin morphology. The authors focus on the application of CLIL-technologies as a possible way for raising the efficiency of realization of competence approach.
