PHONETIC CHANGES OF THE NAMES FOR THE DAYS OF THE WEEK IN THE TATAR LANGUAGE

Abstract. The ancient Turkic nation, the predecessor of the Tatar language speakers, was in close contact with the Iranian tribes. Political, economic, cultural, educational values were formed and the foreign trade relations were intensively developed between these tribes. Consequently the languages of the nations ??changed and enriched by the process of borrowing. The article examines the Persian borrowings, more specifically the names for the days of the week, in the Tatar language and their changes.
