LITERARY TEXT AS AN ELEMENT OF CULTURE: TRANSLATION ASPECT

Abstract. The article reveals the peculiarities of correlation of a text with the national and cultural specifics of a certain culture. Translated literary text is investigated as an element of culture, as a source of information about the national character, history, mentality and world-view of a certain nation in the space of literary heritage of a particular culture. The author identifies the diversified dialogic nature of a translated literary text in the cross-cultural context giving birth to the new literary images typical for the culture of a language in translation.
