Abstract. The article considers an idyllic "German" chronotope in the pre-emigrant poetry by Sasha Chorny. The escape from the big and complicated world into the small restricted cosy one (of childhood, garden, small town, etc.) is a basis of this artistic space. At the same time an image of idyllic space is complicated by the motives of wanderings and death conditioned by a foreignness of a Russian character to the German locus.
