KHAKASS PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS WITH THE COMPONENT ‘HEM’ AND THEIR EQUIVALENTS IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article analyzes the Khakass phraseological units with the component "hem" and presents their analogues in the Russian language. In both linguistic cultures this garment is equally related to the male and female clothes, but phraseological units with the word "hem" are frequently correlated with a woman’s behaviour. In most cases the Khakass phraseological units have their equivalents in the Russian language, in both languages phraseological units with a component "hem" have the internal form and contain negative evaluation.
