T. H. SHEVCHENKO'S "THE CAUCASUS" - UNDERLYING FIGURATIVELY MENTAL "UNIVERSAL" TEXT OF CULTURE

Abstract. In the article T. H. Shevchenko's poem "The Caucasus" is analyzed, the basic "universal "concepts-constructs"" modelling their sense and meaning are described, the etymology of the word "Caucasus" and its connection with the underlying metaphorical images of the poem are considered. According to the studied and analyzed material one can affirm that the text of the poem "The Caucasus" has taken in the underlying mental ambivalent figurative-structured fields which reveal the "universal" sense and meaning of the immortal work of T. H. Shevchenko.
