FROM RSS TO SOCIAL NETWORKS: POSSIBILITIES OF RADIO

Abstract. Problem of information overload becomes more topical in proportion to growth of users’ involvement in the Internet. Often the really important news appears to be out of view of the readers even under careful monitoring. The users expect that the chosen resources will be convenient; they don’t want to experience difficulties coming across an unorganized stream of information. In the article the author raises a problem of ranking the user’s news feed and makes a conclusion about the necessity for sorting out the content depending on its social value.
