STANZAS AS A DIALOGUE WITH THE AUTHORITIES: PUSHKIN, YESENIN, MANDELSTAM

Abstract. The article examines the destiny of Pushkin’s "Stanzas" ("In the Hope of Glory and Kindness…", 1826) in the creative activities of the poets of the XX century - S. A. Yesenin and O. E. Mandelstam. The author pays special attention to the specifics of ideological and artistic relations of the modern works with the text of the poet-predecessor representing the lyrical genre of stanzas as a form of poetical dialogue uniting the masters of the pen and ideologists of the authorities in power.
