THE REGIONAL ASPECTS OF NAMING OF PUBLIC CATERING ESTABLISHMENTS (COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTIC OF ERGONYMS OF MOSCOW AND VORONEZH)

Abstract. The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of names of public catering establishments of Voronezh and Moscow and to the revelation of similarities and differences of these commercial nominations in semantics, composition of thematic groups, structure. The research is particularly topical due to the wide prevalence of ergonyms and the insufficient extent of their state of knowledge. On the basis of the material under study, it is possible to conclude that the information function of names is used for pragmatic effect formation.
