Abstract. In the article the author identifies the peculiarities of computer programs application in the elementary school and considers the possibilities of the use of computer crossword programs for the development of logical thinking, the increase in cognitive activity efficiency, the formation of the skills of the independent productive activity of elementary school pupils.
