INTERACTION OF HISTORICAL AND FANTASTICAL AS A DOMINATING PRINCIPLE OF L. PERUTZ’S POETICS (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE NOVEL "THE MARQUIS OF BOLIBAR")

Abstract. The article considers the specifics of the poetics of the Austrian writer Leo Perutz (1882-1957) by the material of the historical fantastical novel "The Marquis of Bolibar"). The author of the article pays special attention to the synthesis of historical and fantastical as a dominating principle of the writer’s poetics. The distinctive feature of the historical fantastical novels by Perutz is a special vision of a problem of self-awareness of a personality, search for his place in history.
