A NOVEL APPROACH TO TEACHING ENGLISH-LANGUAGE ACADEMIC WRITING IN ARMENIA

Abstract. In the article the new conception of teaching a written language in linguistic higher schools taking into account the reconsideration of meaning and specificity of education in the XXI century is considered. The choice of process approach towards teaching written genres is substantiated. The efficiency of the approach from the point of view of the development of skills and competencies and from the point of view of teaching, mastering and learning language is shown.
