Abstract. The article reveals the meaning of cross-cultural component of a foreign language textbook, makes a suggestion to develop this component taking as a guideline the principle of multicultural nature of a world space, representing the culture in four grounds: conceptual content of culture, level of culture, aspect of culture and form of encoding the culture. Application of the mentioned principle can stimulate the effective modeling of professional foreign culture outside the authentic environment, improving the training of the future participants of cross-cultural professional communication.
