PSYCHOLINGUISTIC PECULIARITIES OF TEACHING THE STUDENTS THE CATEGORY OF GENDER

Abstract. The article is dedicated to the psycholinguistic peculiarities of teaching the students the category of gender of the nouns. The author reveals the cognitive potential of the category of gender, considers the relationship of grammatical gender with thinking, psychological specifics of a human being. The paper analyzes the process of personification of inanimate nouns in poetical texts.
