Abstract. The article represents possibilities and advantages of using blog-technologies in teaching foreign languages under conditions of informational-educational environment of institution of higher education by the example of teacher’s blog. The author investigates typology of blogs, their didactic properties and technological characteristics, she also suggests examples of using teacher’s blog in teaching English.
