WORLD OF CHILDHOOD IN CREATIVE PERCEPTION AND ARTISTIC PRACTICE OF V. I. DAL

Abstract. The article is devoted to the revelation of the topic of childhood in the fiction of V. I. Dal by the example of stories "The Alms", "The Baptismal Ceremony", "The Eve of Theophany", "The Nursery Twilight". The writer makes a special image of childhood, realistic and tragic on the one hand, and elevated, romantic and optimistic on the other hand. The childhood is considered as inherently valued life period and this shadow of meaning must be admitted as the writer’s undoubted discovery.
