ROLE OF MEMORY IN TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGE LISTENING COMPREHENSION

Abstract. The article considers memory as the basic psychological mechanism, the development of which is necessary for a sense auditory perception of a foreign speech. The analysis of different aspects of the problem allowed making a conclusion about the importance of improving different memory types for more successful realization of activities of foreign language listening comprehension and for the appropriateness of tasks usage, which contribute to the activation of trainees’ mental activity.
