ON VERBAL ACCENTUATION OF NORTHERN DIALECTS IN THE UDMURT LANGUAGE

Abstract. The issues of peculiarity of the word stress in Northern dialect of the Udmurt language are covered in the article. The specific features in the sphere of accentuation which can be traced in some of the morphological categories and word classes are analyzed. The comparison is drawn between the separate facts of the word stress in Northern dialects and the similar features of other Udmurt dialects. A number of detected peculiarities in accentuation match the accentuation specifics of the Besermyanskii dialect and the Kukmorskii dialect.
