Abstract. The description of COVERING concept indications represented with the structural schemes "who covers what with what" and "who is covered with what" is presented in the article. The basic indications form the concept core, non-basic ones are on the periphery. Cognitive indication attribution to the category of basic or non-basic is determined by the lexical meanings of structure-formative component and the syntactic way of its verbalization: lexical representation in structural or positional scheme.
