ATTEMPT OF EXPRESSIVENESS CATEGORY FIELD MODEL CONSTRUCTION (BY MATERIAL OF H. FIELDING’S NOVEL "BRIDGET JONES’S DIARY")

Abstract. The functional aspect of expressiveness language category is researched, its semantic and formal structure is analyzed. The possibility of studying expressiveness as a functional-semantic category is substantiated, expressive meaning variants are determined that compose the semantic dominant of this category. The functional-semantic field of language and speech grammatical expressiveness is constructed by the material of H. Fielding’s English-language novel "Bridget Jones’s Diary" analysis.
