Abstract. In the article the anthroponyms used in the works of the Tatar literature classical writers are considered. First the anthroponym system of fiction texts is shown as an onomastic field with the nucleus, perinuclear space and periphery. The features of functioning and the peculiarities of each stratum are analyzed. It is revealed that periphery elements being an important artistic-poetic component of the works participate in the creation of stylistic figures and poetic methods.
