ON PERSPECTIVES OF METAPHORIC MEANINGS STUDYING

Abstract. In the article the directions of metaphoric meanings researches perspective for the analysis are given. The basic discursive and pragmatic characteristics of metaphors used for the representation of social-political and economic events and phenomena in the modern world are shown. Special attention is given to the interdiscursive character of metaphor.
