Abstract. The article considers the features of the melodic system of sounding fiction text, which involves several semantic and emotional-stylistic interpretations. In the article the most important components of artistic speech prosody such as the rhythmical organization of speech, intonation characteristic and spectral analysis are defined. Such approach allows revealing the multi-level building of melodic patterns, which don’t only carry the message, but also perform communicative function in speech.
