DIRECT AND INDIRECT REFERENCES AS FACTORS OF LANGUAGE SYSTEM STABILIZATION AND DESTABILIZATION

Abstract. The article is devoted to the consideration of language system stabilization and destabilization processes that ensure its functioning and development. The research shows that the self-organization of language is implemented due to the processes of direct and indirect references that occur in any language. Direct reference is aimed at stabilizing language, making it a universal means of communication between people; it provides uninterrupted and reliable functioning of the language system. Indirect reference destabilizes language, leading to changes in the language system and, consequently, to its development.
