PSALTER AS SPIRITUAL SOURCE FOR SELF-EXPRESSION OF I. A. KRYLOV

Abstract. The article presents the worldview problem of self-expression in the stringent conditions of classicism. The attempt to reveal the subjective organization of I. A. Krylov’s poetry is undertaken basing on the analysis of literary conceptions of spiritual lyrics and theories of author’s consciousness. The spiritual dominant of intimate lyrics, realized in the poetry of the XVIII th century by addressing to Psalter, is considered. The assumption on the possibility of self-expression through the choice of Psalter for versification is the leitmotif of the presented work. The study of psalms poetic versification allows the author to come to the conclusion about the personality-oriented address of poet I. A. Krylov to the genre of psalms versification.
