NOMEN AND BRAND: PSKOV BLENDING IN THE CONTEXT OF GENERAL PROBLEMS OF TERRITORY BRANDING

Abstract. The article from the viewpoints of hermeneutic and discursive approaches examines the phenomenon of Pskov blending. For interpreting blend as a specific nomen the author applies to the linguistic conceptual apparatus. The researcher introduces the conception "public branding", tries to understand the regional specifics of promoting brand-decisions positioned within the topical area of naming.
