LANGUAGE OF SYMBOLS IN FOLK TALES: EPIC METHODS OF CREATING IMAGE OF BATYR

Abstract. The article considers the linguistic structure of the Tatar people’s epic works. In this regard, the author substantiates and compares the expressive artistic means - language poetic elements, stylistic devices, mythological models and views - when reproducing the epic biography of batyr. By the comparison of main motives of the narrative the sign and symbolic character of the epic Turkish-Tatar worldview is revealed.
