ON THE PROBLEM OF WORD-FORMATIVE MODELING (BY THE MATERIAL OF PREFIXAL VERBS OF THE MODERN GERMAN LANGUAGE)

Abstract. The article shows the specifics of verbal prefixal word formation of the modern German language, reveals the contradictory essence of semi-prefixal verbs deriving bases of which are marked by derivational morphemes of various natures. The author examines the importance of word-formative derivativeness in the synchronous aspect. Prefixal and semi-prefixal units simultaneously manifest structural-semantic correlation both within the derivational complex and in the correlation: derivative-original word.
