COMMUNICATIVE STRATEGIES AND TACTICS IN SELF-PRESENTATIONS (BY THE MATERIAL OF RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH DATING SITES)

Abstract. The article describes the capacity for self-presentation in the virtual communicative space of the native speakers of Russian and English. Self-presentation in the dating sites, according to the authors, is carried out by using typical communicative strategies and tactics. Analyzing the available material the researchers identified the universal, typical for both languages communicative strategies, and also the coincidences and differences in the choice of tactical devices while implementing the certain strategy.
