EQUIVALENCE OF YURIY LEVITANSKY’S TRANSLATIONS FROM GEVORG EMIN’S POETRY

Abstract. The article describes the translation principles of the Russian poet Yuriy Levitansky who made a great contribution in the development of Russian -Armenian literary relations. The translator in his translations preserved the nature of the original, its intonations. Yuriy Levitansky especially appreciated Gevorg Emin’s poems which are the equivalents of his originals representing themselves the examples of high poetry.
