THE CONFLICT AND CHARACTERS IN G. YUSHKOV'S SMALL DRAMA "VIR TShYK?DYS'' ("SPOILING BLOOD")

Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of G. Yushkov's small drama "Spoiling Blood". The author focuses on the characters of the heroes of the play - "basis of life" and "spoiling blood" which were typical for the rural community at the end of the ХХ century. Creating a conflict situation between these characters G. Yushkov reveals a topical problem of the 1990s - degradation of village, gradual destruction of moral values which united rural community previously.
