STATEMENT OF FACT AND ABUSIVE COMMENT AS THE OBJECTS OF LINGUISTIC EXPERTISE

Abstract. The article examines the problem of qualification of statement of fact and abusive comment by the example of the analysis of a journalistic text. Differentiation of these conceptions in the juridical and philological practice is not doubted, at the same time the problem of functioning of the terms within the framework of juridical expertise is still insufficiently explored. The author examines the case when communicative perversion and factual negative information which can be tested for truth are represented by a common linguistic category. A word begins to perform a function of discredit both as an abusive comment and as a negative statement of fact.
