ON THE USE OF LEXICOGRAPHICAL SOURCES IN LINGUISTIC RESEARCH

Abstract. The article deals with the study of advantages and disadvantages in the use in linguistic studies of lexicographical sources in conditions of mass linguists' transfer to the use of linguistic corpora of different purposes in their work. Special attention is paid to the factor of subjectivism in the dictionary creation for which the works of this genre are severely criticized.
