ABBREVIATIONS OF MODERN TRADE BRANDS OF COMPUTER TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract. The article considers relatively new linguistic phenomenon "naming" by the example of the English trade marks and brands of famous companies of computer and telecommunication facilities production. Using the diachronic and synchronistic research methods the author concludes about the semantic usage of capacity of researched lexical units.
