STRATEGY OF CONVINCING SPEECH IN EPISTOLARY TEXTS (BY MATERIALS OF LETTERS OF PROTECTION)

Abstract. The strategy of convincing is researched as a way of influence on addressee in epistolary texts. The open letters, called in mass media "letters of protection", are used as the material of research. The article considers different tactics of convincing speech, its use in composition parts of letters. The comparison of psychological and linguistic approaches with the question about the strategies and tactics of speech influence is conducted. The article concludes about the factors influencing on effectiveness of communication.
