INTERPRETATIONS OF ENGLISH SYNTAX IN DIACHRONIC RESPECT

Abstract. The article is devoted to studying the changes of the presentation methods of the English language grammatical norm in syntax from the end of the XIX th till the end of the XX th century. Grammatical norm is considered in the structure of separate syntax phenomena. Terminology changes are observed: it becomes more unified, exact and corresponding to the essence of the identified phenomenon. The deeper differentiation of syntax relations with the help of various syntax means takes place.
