GRAPHIC-PHONETIC FEATURES OF AKHMAD YASAVI’S POETIC WORKS OF THE XII TH CENTURY

Abstract. The article is devoted to the complex language study of the poetic works "Divan-i Khikmet" written by the outstanding Turkic Sufi poet of the XII th century Akhmad Yasavi. The aim of this research is the system analysis of the graphic and phonetic features of A. Yasavi’s khikmets language and ascertainment of their connection with the norms of the modern Tatar literary language and its dialects. In the article the cultural-historical and language situation of the XI th-XII th centuries in Central Asia and Volga Region is described; the graphic and phonetic features of A. Yasavi’s khikmets are analyzed.
