FORMATION OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF MEDICAL STUDENTS IN PROCESS OF STUDYING IN HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT

Abstract. The article defines more exactly the essence of the notion "foreign language communicative competence", considers language, speech and social-cultural competences, which form its content and qualitatively characterize it; reveals the diagnostic tools for the measuring and evaluating the indices of their development, presents the results of an experimental research showing that traditional approaches to teaching the discipline of "Foreign Language" for students of medical higher education establishment do not provide the significant increase in language and social-cultural competence indices, and lead to the significant improvement of speech competence indices and to a slight increase in the level of foreign language communicative competence formation in general.
