TRAVELOGUE IN RUSSIAN LITERARY TRADITION: STRATEGY OF TEXT PRODUCTION

Abstract. The article analyzes the existing of travelogue in the Russian literary tradition: sources, genre genetics, the main vectors of development, and texts, using the formula of travel prose organization as a compositional and content invariant. It is shown that the narrative strategy of travelogue is one of the most productive forms of text production and the basis for the formation of artistic genres, including novel.
