ON PROBLEM OF AMPHIBOLOGY IN SYNTAX OF GERMAN SENTENCE

Abstract. The article raises the problem of syntactic homonymy in the German sentence. Despite a great number of works devoted to the dualism of the linguistic sign, the special attention in them is paid to the description of lexical homonymy, but the amphibology in the German sentence is considered extremely rare. The author describes the mechanisms of homonymy at different language levels, and tells how to resolve it.
