PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF TEACHING ADULTS TO SPEAK FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN SYSTEM OF SUPPLEMENTARY EDUCATION

Abstract. The article considers the psychological features of teaching adults to speak a foreign language in the system of supplementary education, their main intellectual and personal qualities, as well as the difficulties encountered in the course of learning and cognitive activity. The characteristics that influence the effectiveness of adult education are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the principles of teaching adults to speak a foreign language in the system of supplementary education.
