Abstract. The article considers the hermeneutical aspect of inner monologue. The authors define the inner monologue as a separate object of rhetorical and hermeneutic analysis, and research the stylistic features of its functioning. The article gives the examples of applying such techniques in recipient’s insertion in a reflective position as the techniques of actualization and rhythmization of a prosaic text.
